A personal approach to timeless interiors
Meet Annie
After earning a bachelor of business administration in marketing from Texas A&M university, Annie Clark built a successful 15-year career in IT sales. As an Account Executive working with clients in industries ranging from healthcare to oil and gas, she honed her skills in project management and building and nurturing long-term business relationships, which her design clients benefit from today.
It was her hands-on involvement in the extensive renovation on her home, built in 1906, that sparked a longing in Annie to help others achieve homes that reflect who they are and elevate how they live on a daily basis.
Working closely with her contractor, Annie oversaw the project herself, hand-picking every detail, finish, and piece of furnishing while also navigating the complexities of construction. Her eye for style and unique ability to preserve the homes past while updating it to feel fresh, modern, and personal to her family's tastes resulted in a transformation so impactful that requests for design help from neighbors and loved ones poured in. Soon after, 1906 Design was born!
Today, Annie — along with the support team she's carefully curated to include top-shelf vendors, contractors, tradespeople, movers, and installers — works with homeowners throughout the Houston area and along the Gulf Coast.
From floor to ceiling, the spaces she designs are full of style, character, and charming personality. Although well-versed in projects involving large- and small-scale renovations and furnishings for both older and historical homes, Annie also brings her talent for creating cohesive, layered interiors to new construction and furnishings-only projects, as well as design consultation services.
Annie spends her time off hanging out with her husband and two young children or perusing the wares at antique and vintage stores and, of course, the Round Top Antiques Fair. She loves gathering design inspiration from her travels, especially throughout Europe.
